1940s French Faded Hunting Jacket

1940年代頃にフランスで着用されていたハンティングジャケットのご紹介です。

素材は薄手ながらもがっしりとタフな生地感のコットンキャンバスを採用。

フロントには三つのフラップ付きポケット、背面のゲームポケットは内側からもう一段階番手の高いコットンキャンバス生地が充てられ、全面に大きく取られる仕様。

フラップポケット内部の色残りから、元々はベージュ色の生地だったものが経年によって現在のオフホワイトのような色味になったことが窺えます。

メインジッパーには1940年代後半ごろの真鍮製”ECLAIR”ジップが付属。

肩部分は落ち感の良いラグラン仕様の袖付け。

こちらは欠損しておりますがウエストにはベルトを通すためのループが付属。さらに50年代以降のハンティングジャケットのボックスシルエットとは異なり脇下にキュッと絞りが入る、より上品な印象の漂うシルエット。

サイズはメンズのジャストLほど。

かなりの年代物ではございますが目立ったダメージもなく、ムラなく美しくフェードしてくれています。これから着用していくに従って柔らかく肌に馴染んでゆく生地感の変化を存分に堪能して頂けるグッドコンディションです。

市場にも滅多に出回ることのない、1940年代のフレンチハンティングジャケット。上質な素材感と美しい経年変化が魅力の１着です。お好きな方は是非ともこの機会に。
