4～5年前の秋深し時節のこと、ちょっとした羽織ものを求めて街を徘徊してたら、いかにもストリート系でパンキッシュなアイテムを取り揃えてます感ありありのセレクト・ショップの前を通りかかったら、店内の奥深い場所にハンガリングされていた、このコートを目聡く見つけた私は、まるで魔に取り憑かれたが如くに惹き寄せられ、まったく試着することもなければサイズさえ確かめることもなく購入するに至ったコート > _ > ; 
 
帰宅して初めて袖を通したのだが、最初は「おっさんが着ても許されるもんなんかいな？！」との思惑に揺れながらも、このセンス・オブ・ワンダーに抗えず、かなり変人気質丸出しなワードローブの中軸として、けっこうヘヴィ・ローテーションしていたのだが、この秋冬の傾向から惜しむらくも外れてしまったものだから、少なからず扱き使われて疲労感を覚えざるを得ないが、不思議なことに、これといった不具合の類も見受けられないので、私の“お下がり”で申し訳ないこと、この上ないけれど、お気に召して下さり、こいつの最後を看取って貰える方に御購入して頂きたく存じますm(_ _)m 
 
かなりの高額設定は、紛うことなく私の思い入れによるところの我が儘でしかないのですか、希少価値感とヴィンテージとなり得るポテンシャルを有していると信じ、将来的にはコレクターズ・アイテムとして自慢（欺瞞だったりして？）するに足る逸材との感慨を深くしているからなので、なにとぞ御理解の程よろしくお願い致したく存じますm(_ _)m
